In this video, I will be doing a weapon breakdown of Despisaro’s Fang!
Despisaro’s Fang was first featured in the Dragon Quest 4 Event back in the winter of 2020. I was unable to get the weapon and the gear related to it at that time, but over the past two years, I have been able to get the leggings and finally got the weapon when it became available for upgrade in the Forge. Though I have upgraded the weapon to Kai Level 4, I’m not sure how useful this weapon is going to be since I have better Mera based weapons in my inventory.
Despisaro’s Fang will have the following abilities:
ヴァイパーファング Viper Fang
MP Cost: 5 MP
Imbuing the blade with deadly poison, this does 130% weapon damage to one enemy and has a chance to inflict deadly poison
カオスエッジ Chaos Edge
MP Cost: 9 MP
With a chaotic sword technique, this does 175% weapon damage to one enemy and has a chance to cause confusion
ジバリカ Jibarika
MP Cost: 12 MP
At the start of the enemy action, an explosion from a magic circle does minor Jibaria spell damage to one enemy
バンパイアエッジ Vampire Edge
MP Cost: 13 MP
Does 200% weapon damage to one enemy and also recovers HP
デスファング改 Death Fang Kai
MP Cost: 26 MP
With ferocious continuation, this does 130% Mera weapon damage three times to random enemies
